The many types of anxiety disorders have different triggers and symptoms. They include:

At your first appointment with Andrea Skrocki, she completes a psychiatric diagnostic evaluation. She reviews your medical and mental health histories and uses screening tools to better understand how you think and feel.
Andrea uses the information she gathers during this 60-75 minute evaluation to develop a diagnostic impression and personalized treatment plan for you.

Andrea takes a collaborative and holistic approach to care. She talks to you about your concerns and treatment choices, and together, you develop an action plan.
Anxiety treatment can include medication management, psychotherapy, or both. Andrea recommends her patients see their primary care provider for wellness exams and lab work when participating in medication management for their anxiety.
Psychopharmacological genetic testing (PGT) can be order and is covered by some insurance carriers to determine how you metabolize certain medications. This can be helpful if you have failed or had serious side effects on medications in the past. If you have questions, or want to order this test, ask Andrea for more details.
